Interventional Pulmonology e-Course

The minimum eligibility for doing this course is that the participant should be currently pursuing MBBS, MD, DNB or equivalent.

It is recommended that you have basic knowledge before enrolling.

The course is designed to be completed in a maximum time period of 180 days, this includes the Online Exam and Certification.

The course is will have:

  1. Master Class by the faculty.
  2. Take home points.
  3. Reading recommendations.
  4. Feedback.
The NCCP’s IPEC course equips participants with theoretical and practical knowledge in interventional pulmonology. Spanning 30 modules, it covers diagnostic and therapeutic procedures like EBUS Bronchoscopy, Thoracoscopy, and Airway Stenting. Hands-on training at specialized centers is essential for effective skill development. The Course has 30 modules to cover all important aspects of Interventional Pulmonology which have been designed to run for 180 days (21 weeks 3 days).

The Indian Association of Chest Diseases was established in the year 1959, with fifty-eight founder members. It was formally inaugurated at the time of Indian Science Congress by the Late Sir Arcot Lakshamanaswami Mudaliar, Vice Chancellor, Madras University, in January, 1959. Dr. V.K.R.V. Rao, Vice Chancellor, University of Delhi, presided. Soon after the inauguration, the first business meeting was held under the Presidentship of Late Dr. A. V. Baliga.
